"Why Fund-Raising Is Fun"

Another PCV recently posted this article from the New York Times about fund-raising and the benefits that come from donating and volunteering one's time and effort.  I really enjoyed it and think all of you will, also.

On this note, THANK YOU, again, to everyone who has contributed to my projects and causes here in the Philippines!   This experience has taught me that there is no shortage of people wishing to help others in this world.  Sometimes people just need to be presented with worthy opportunities to give.
