Later in the afternoon, when the ceremony was over, kids returned to school after lunch and started lining up to come in the library. Even though I was beat, and just wanted to go home and take a nap, I didn't want to dampen their enthusiasm for the library so I allowed 20 of them to enter and have some library time.

I was ecstatic to see kids using the shelf markers they learned about in their orientations!
